This is a magnificent book of 185 pages about Fana sweaters/jerseys. Fana is a region in Norway, rich in history and tradition! In the book you will find knitting history, patterns with cutting/steeking drawings and instructions, and photos, pattern borders, knitting techniques, patterns and a rich picture material. The various techniques are shared in both Norwegian and English, followed by a well done summary of the book in English in the back of the book.
The book presents old and new models of Fanatroyer, complete with a bibliography and map of Fana. A fin e group of Norwegian designers and historians came together to produce this marvelous book - Olga Marie Breivik, Aud Lysberg, Torun Selstad, Anne-Cathrine Sundt, Torild Finsrud Velure, and Vigdis N. Westgaard.
