Hillesvag Luna - It's HERE!
Yet another lovely Hillesvåg Yarn has been added to the SUFibers Norwegian collection.
Luna lamb’s wool yarn, introduced by Hillesvåg in Fall 2022, is spun from Norwegian lambs, being only C1 Fin, 28 microns thick. This means that only the finest fibers from Norwegian White Sheep are allowed in the production of Luna lamb’s wool yarn, making it light and airy! (Luna pairs well with both the Vidde and Varde lines of knitting yarn from Hillesvåg. Stay tuned!)
Hillesvåg prides itself on following the best practices with minimal impact on the environment, using only GOTS-approved dyes (Global Organic Textile Standard) for all of its wool lines.
This increased environmental focus requires that dyes are biodegradable and non-toxic. The finished product may not contain allergens or residues of hazardous chemicals. GOTS-approved dye is allowed in organic production of yarn and textiles.

Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rounds = 10 x 10 cm on needles size 4.5 – 5 mm.
We recommend hand washing the garments with mild wool soap and letting them dry flat.
