Blåne pelsull yarn is a 2-ply, soft, and lustrous carded yarn. Approx. 114m per 100g, Nm 2.3/2, 100% Norwegian wool. The yarn is spun from wool from Norwegian Fur Sheep or Pelsau. It has a fine, soft, and silky wool with good crimps. The wool contains both light and dark fibers. The dark fibers give the yarn an interesting depth and a heathered effect when dyed.

Gauge: 14 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 6mm needles. Supplied in 100g skeins. The yarn is suitable for thick sweaters, hats, mittens, and home decor knitting such as blankets and accent pillows. Blåne yarns pair well with Hillesvag’s Troll yarn as well….soon to be carried at SUFibers.
